“In 1973, I began The Sky Diary — a drawing of the sky every day for the rest of my life. With thousands of daily entries to date, this practice has become a timeless reflection of the beauty above and the quiet act of noticing it.”

Every Sky a Memory

1989 | Ralph makes a painting from the sky diary entry on the day his son, Jackson, was born. Friends see the painting and begin requesting skies connected to births, weddings, and meaningful moments in their own lives.
